Old Mill Creek Schoolhouse
A unique learning environment inspired by a one-room schoolhouse philosophy, where children of various ages learn side by side in a collaborative, hands-on atmosphere. Here, learning extends beyond academics; it’s an invitation to nurture kindness, empathy, and a genuine love for the world around them.
Community Experiential Offerings
Our doors are open to school-age children and their caregivers. These programs are designed to let you see the world, and yourself, from new perspectives. Each session is built around a connection-focused philosophy, informed by science and a deep respect for the power of relationships and natural rhythms.
Equine and Animal-Assisted Learning
Engage with horses and other animals in ways that build trust, compassion, and mutual respect. These sessions allow participants to develop stronger relationships not only with animals but also with themselves and others.
Nature-Based Education
Reconnect with the outdoors and with yourself through experiential, nature-centered learning. Our nature-based programs cultivate imagination, encourage exploration, and foster resilience, curiosity, and appreciation for the beauty and complexity of our natural surroundings, building the foundation for a love of self, others, and the world well beyond our backyard.
Music, Movement, Rhythm, and Art
Our team understands how rhythm and art profoundly affect the developing child’s brain, and this knowledge deeply informs our offerings. Through music, movement, rhythm, and art, children can discover new ways to regulate their bodies and problem-solve real challenges, in the moment.
